Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
salt and pepper to taste
1 large onion chopped
2 cans of tomato sauce (15 oz)
2 cans of tomato paste (6oz)
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
2 Tbsp Dried Parsley
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/8 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 OR 2 Tbsp sugar - depending on how much of the red pepper flakes you use
2 cups water

Directions:
Brown ground beef that has been seasoned with salt and pepper; then drain.
Scoot over meet and add in onion - saute.
Add all the other ingredients EXCEPT water. Stir to combine well and then bring to a simmer.
Add water and still well. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

SIDENOTE:  Feel free to add more or less of the crushed red pepper flakes and feel free to also add in chopped green pepper when sautéing the onion and also sliced mushrooms.  I served this over spaghetti but it's great with any pasta.
