Bright and Light For Spring

I decided to lighten and brighten things up for today. 💗 This fuchsia top was just what I needed to put a step and pep in my day. 💗 I noticed I had been wearing a lot of black and grey so I needed a bright color to change my mood. Fast and Easy Herbed Chicken with Veggies

Ingredients 

• 2 tablespoons oil 
• 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders, thighs or breasts (I used thighs)
• 1 medium onion, chopped 
• 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained 
• 1/4 cup water (I didn’t need the water so I didn’t add it)
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon oregano
• 1/2 teaspoon salt 
• 1 package (6 ounces) baby spinach leaves 
• Crumbled Feta Cheese

Add oil to large skillet on medium high heat.  Add chicken and brown each side for 5 minutes.  Add onion.  Cook and stir for ten minutes or until softened.  Stir in tomatoes, water and seasonings.  Bring to boil stirring occasionally.  Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for three minutes.  Stir in spinach and cook for 2 minutes or until spinach begins to melt.  I add feta cheese once it's finished or once it's plated depending on who likes it.  This was SO good and SO easy!   Let me know if you give it a try.

Casual Weekend Style

I spent the entire weekend cleaning out my closets. I was able to fill my entire backseat including the floor with bags of clothes, shoes and handbags. 💙 I still have my long sleeve shirts, scarves, belts and jackets to go through. 💙

 Today’s look is an easy weekend look. My entire look was shopped from my closet. I love this denim jacket.  It's not stiff but is soft denim which makes it so much more comfy.  Also, my sneakers are some of my favorite.  They go with so many things and I get a ton of use out of them. I also love this leather backpack.  I love it so much I bought in the dark brown and tan.  Half the look is still current and the other half I linked similar under the bottom picture. 💙

Prom Night 2018 The Final Chapter

It was a huge evening in our home this past Saturday.....it was PROM NIGHT for our youngest Sierra. 💙 We have five children and she is our baby girl. 💙It’s hard to believe that this phase of our life is quickly coming to an end. 💙 Sierra looked absolutely gorgeous tonight when she and all 9 of her friends and their dates loaded up in a limo to head to prom after all the parents too a million pictures. 💙I shed a tear as they drove away.
